Chezron takes Pro Class 21 Championship

We did it! We wrapped up the 2010 SCORE Baja Pro Class 21 Championship!

After a year full of surprises, upsets, glory, setbacks, and success we won the championship by a few points.

The San Felipe 250 went fairly smooth, only one cartwheeling incident,  for a 3rd place in our division. From that race forward we knew we had the team and the bike to accomplish this goal. The Baja 500 our team put together a tremendous effort and won our first race.

Now the pressure was on. We were only 3 points out of first place for the season, so whoever won the Baja 1000 would be class champion. We assembled a new bike to make sure mechanical issues would hopefully not determine the race.  We had back-up plan after back-up plan to cover ourselves in the case of bike or rider problems.  Speaking of problems one of our riders broke both wrists 2 months before the race and left us scrambling for a new teammate, not to mention we had to find two other riders because of the distance of the race. We found three smart, fast riders that filled the slots perfectly.

With the bike and the team ready to go we set out to win our first championship. By the end of the race we beat our competition by over 1 hour and 10 minutes and were the 4th bike overall!
